Job summary

Community Resources For Justice, Inc. in Fitchburg, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor to join our team. This full-time, 40-hour/week non-exempt position provides direct support to individuals in our residential programs, with a starting rate of $18 per hour.

You will supervise and transport clients, support their development of daily living skills, and maintain safety and documentation. The role offers benefits eligibility and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
• Must pass required agency certifications within allotted time.
• Must pass criminal and driver’s checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including interviews, appointments, and activities.
• Support and teach clients new skills per the Individual Service Plan.
• Act as a positive role model to promote quality of life and safety.
• Administer medications and complete timely documentation (progress notes, summaries, attendance).
