As an RC, you will supervise and support teens aged 12–17, lead groups, and participate in activities like hiking, surf therapy, equine therapy, fitness groups, and more. Must be 21+, HS diploma or GED, and available for at least one weekend shift.
Evolve Adolescent Behavioral Health is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Residential Counselor to join our Ojai team at our 6-bed teen residential treatment centers!
We help adolescents 12 to 17 years old struggling with mental health, substance abuse, or behavior issues. Residential Counselors provide supervision and support to up to 6 adolescents who are in residential treatment for 45-60 days for issues related to mental health and substance abuse.
Residential Counselors support clients in their daily activities and facilitate groups with our clients. This position is challenging yet rewarding as our staff have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of teens and their families. This is a great position for someone who may be interested in going back to school to pursue a degree in the mental health or social services field. The ideal candidate is patient, dedicated, and excited about working with teens. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to adjust to the ever-changing nature of residential treatment!
Pay Range $21.00 - $27.00 Hourly (future earning potential)
