Community Health Resources (CHR) is hiring a Residential Counselor for Willow House in Enfield, CT. This full-time, on-site role (40 hours/week) runs Sunday through Thursday from 3-11pm, supporting young adults in independent living skills within a 5-bed, 24-hour staffed program.

The position emphasizes group and one-on-one interventions, collaboration with families and providers, and adherence to CHR and licensing standards. A valid driver’s license and prior experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young adults preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains environment and program standards.
• Monitors medications per policy.
• Teaches residents in rehab areas (nutrition, budgeting, hygiene, home care).
• Prepares and facilitates educational and skill-building groups.
• Collaborates with providers and families as needed.
• Maintains documentation per agency standards.
