Monte Nido is seeking a part-time Recovery Coach for our Winfield location with programs in Winfield, Naperville and Lombard. The role supports clients in their recovery journey, participates in meals and therapeutic activities, and works with the treatment team to reinforce healthy routines.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of applicable education, at least 1 year in a mental health setting, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through their recovery journey in the program.
• Align interventions with the client’s treatment plan.
• Encourage healthy connections among clients and staff.
• Assist in food prep and supervise client meals and snacks.
• Participate in therapeutic groups and develop core skills.
• Conduct rounds and observations; transport clients when needed.

Monte Nido’s treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a part-time Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team at our Winfield, Naperville and Lombard programs.

Availability needed for Wednesday 7am-3pm, Thursday 3pm-11pm, and Sunday 6am-2pm

Salary: $17-$22/hr

• Conduct rounds and provide observations
• Occasionally, drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with safe driving history.
• We require good communication and client relations skills; service orientation; flexibility; and the ability to work as a member of a team.
