Monte Nido Chicago is seeking a per diem Recovery Coach in Winfield, IL, to support adults in a residential program focused on eating disorders. The role emphasizes guiding recovery, participating in meals, and coordinating with the treatment team.

The position requires evening availability (2pm–10:30pm) with weekend shifts, and a valid driver’s license. This on-site role offers growth within the Monte Nido network and collaborative team care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Psychology preferred; 2+ years post-high school education minimum.
• Experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is desirable (and required in some states).
• Valid state-issued Driver's License with safe driving history.
• Strong communication and client relations skills; ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Key player in integrating and supporting clients through recovery journey.
• Provide support and intervention aligned with client treatment plans.
• Engage clients to develop healthy connections with others in milieu and team.
• Assist in food prep and set-up; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
• Expose clients to therapeutic groups and develop core skills for growth.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations.
• Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.

Monte Nido Chicago, located in Winfield, IL is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido's treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a per diem Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team at our Winfield, Naperville and Lombard programs.

Salary: $17-$22/hr
