Description

Beacon of Hope (BOH), a Division of Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS), is seeking Residential Counselor for the 4 PM – 12 AM shifts to work in a 24-hour congregate setting.

Residential Counselors provide support services to clients living with serious mental illness and in various stages of recovery. The Residential Counselor serves as a liaison for all other services required by clients, performs environmental assessments, and escorts clients to appointments. Performs work in accordance with Office of Mental Health regulations for Licensed Housing as well as CCCS and BOH Policies and Procedures.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Hourly pay is $21.50 - 23.00 per hour ($44,720 - $47,840) annually. Pro-rated on time actually worked during the year), plus a merit-based bonus. Salary is commensurate with educational attainment.

This position is located in the Bronx

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor's preferred
  • Two years of Case Management experience, preferably with SMI population
