NFI North is seeking two Direct Care Counselors, 2nd shift, for our Transitional Housing Program in Manchester, NH. Schedules needed are Sunday to Wednesday and Wednesday to Saturday. This program is a residential treatment and day program that provides comprehensive clinical, vocational services, and life skills for adults living with mental illness seeking independent living. Many participants obtain apartments and attend college with support from our dedicated staff.
Responsibilities: Supervise daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling. Facilitate improvements in personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills, and behavior.
Qualifications: Associates degree preferred with two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience with the participant population.
