Job summary

Wisconsin Community Services seeks a vigilant residential supervisor to oversee adult offenders in a halfway house setting and during community activities. The role ensures accountability, safety, and adherence to facility rules while supporting daily operations and documentation.

You will interact with residents, probation officers, staff, and external partners; participate in intake, orientation, and reporting; and maintain life safety and sanitation standards in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of prior work experience in corrections, security, or related social service field preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use security equipment; CCTV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remain vigilant and alert while on duty.
• Supervise residents in all facility areas and community activities.
• Enforce house rules and offender supervision guidelines.
• Conduct counts, intake assistance, and required documentation.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, and life safety procedures.
• Interact with residents, staff, and community partners.
• Document incidents, disciplinary actions, and reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and external stakeholders.
