Your responsibility as a Residential Coordinator will be leading a team of 8-10 Direct Support professionals in providing exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Key functions include:

  1. Manage staffing schedules.
  2. Direct supervision and development of all program staff, including coordinating trainings to address identified needs. Manage performance and discipline processes according to agency policy and applicable law.
  3. Ensure the implementation of LifeStream’s philosophy on Community, Commitment, and Continuous Learning.
  4. Ensure Person-Centered Thinking is applied for all employees and individuals supported.
  5. Maintain a pleasant physical environment in all homes, reflecting the interests and preferences of the individuals supported.
  6. Coordinate necessary home and vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  7. Complete administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and review of documentation in a timely manner.
  8. Ensure that the Individual Service Plan (ISP) process is conducted in the best interest of each individual and in compliance with DDS and MRC regulations.

Experience/Education

Required:

  1. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Service field with one year of supervisory experience OR a minimum of three years’ experience in Human Services.
  2. Demonstrated history of quality work performance, teamwork, and proven leadership skills.
