Job summary

CLD Recruitment are partnering with a well-established law firm in Harrogate to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancer. You will manage your own varied caseload from instruction to completion, handling sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and shared equity with dedicated Conveyancing Assistant support.

The successful candidate will have extensive Residential Conveyancing experience, a proven ability to manage a full caseload, strong client care and excellent organisational

Qualifications

• Experience working within a Residential Conveyancing role.
• Proven track record of managing a full caseload of approximately 60–100 files.
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish.
• Experience dealing with both freehold and leasehold matters.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong IT skills and experience using case management systems.
• Experience with Proclaim, Redbrick, Quill or similar systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full and varied residential caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Residential sales and purchases.
• Freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Remortgages.
• Transfers of equity.
• Shared equity and staircasing.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professionals.
• Work to deadlines and ensure transactions progress efficiently.
• Provide excellent levels of client service.
• Support and mentor junior members of the team where required.
• Benefit from dedicated 1-1 Conveyancing Assistant support.
