Residential Construction Superintendent
Bedrock Homes is an in-town residential home builder. We are looking for a motivated, energetic result driven leader. Someone who can think on their feet, is a problem solver and doesn't rest until the job is done. This job offers a performance based bonus structure - we are looking for an exceptional candidate who can meet or exceed our's and client's expectations.
Experience in residential construction is a must.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed project expectations with respect to budget, timeline and quality.
- Get the job done and ensure the quality of the projects.
- Visit each job site, schedule crews and execute.
- Estimate materials and maintain a clean, safe job site.
- Stay ahead of scheduling, weather, and budgets; manage multiple homes under construction.
- Lead initial start meetings, review construction details with the construction manager, and develop home construction schedules and scopes of work for vendor contractors.
- Ensure vendor contractor work quality and performance adheres to the scope of work and company standards.
- Obtain all governmental and local jurisdiction required inspections.
- Walk each house daily to monitor status and inspect quality; conduct pre-construction orientation with buyers and new home orientations; facilitate closing walks and punch list completion.
- Approve purchase orders for vendors and trades (including variance purchase orders); work with vendors on builder agreements; manage cost to stay on budget.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness on the job site; build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and the sales and buyer teams through clear communication and follow-through.
- Report wasted materials immediately; confirm deliveries for quantity and quality.
- Must be smartphone and computer proficient.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in new construction and interior renovation projects is required.
- Experience with BuilderTrend is a plus, but training will be provided.
- People-oriented, patient, and able to adapt to challenging situations.
- Curious, willing to learn, motivated, and committed to customer satisfaction.
- Able to work occasional Saturdays.
- Maintain daily logs and progress; accurate labelling and documentation of costs and activities.
Compensation
Pay: $65,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year. Attractive performance-based bonus package offered.
