Vesta Builders in San Diego, CA, is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to own projects from planning through completion. You will manage subcontractors, maintain schedules and budgets, and coordinate site activities to deliver a top-tier client experience.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of remodeling PM experience and are adept at communicating with homeowners and crews. This in-office role offers growth with a growing local contractor.

• 3–5 years of construction project management experience in residential remodeling or renovation.
• Experience managing construction projects, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and on-site execution.
• Experience reviewing estimates and scopes of work and coordinating subcontractor pricing.

Responsabilités

• Manage residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Review estimates and scopes of work, break into subcontractor work packages, and coordinate execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, materials, deliveries, inspections, and site activities.
• Review construction documents and communicate project requirements clearly.
• Monitor project costs, identify potential overruns, and help maintain budget targets.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Communicate proactively with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and the owner.
• Identify problems early, recommend solutions, and follow through until issues are resolved.
• Coordinate change orders, project documentation, and closeout activities.
• Help ensure projects finish on schedule, meet quality expectations, and deliver a strong client experience.

About Vesta Builders

Vesta Builders is a growing general contractor remodeling company serving homeowners throughout San Diego County. We manage residential projects from planning and design through permitting, construction, and final walkthrough, with a strong focus on organization, communication, craftsmanship, and client experience.

We are looking for an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to take ownership of projects from planning through completion. This is an opportunity to work directly with the owner, manage subcontractors and project execution, and help the company grow.

What You'll Do

• Manage residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Review estimates and scopes of work, break them into subcontractor work packages, and coordinate execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, materials, deliveries, inspections, and site activities.
• Review construction documents and communicate project requirements clearly.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of construction project management experience, preferably in residential remodeling or renovation.
• Proven ability to manage construction projects, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and on-site execution.
• Experience reviewing estimates and scopes of work and coordinating subcontractor pricing and assignments.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects and prioritise competing demands.
• A proactive approach, sound judgement, and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with JobTread or similar construction project management software preferred.
• Familiarity with construction documentation, permitting, inspections, and project closeout.
• Ability to travel between project sites in the San Diego area as required.
