Panoptic Group is looking for an experienced residential construction project manager.

We are a growing development and construction company specializing in high-end ground-up new construction projects for the past 15 years. Our main focus is on new multi-unit residential construction (12-34 unit projects) in the Chicagoland area. Since 2011, Panoptic Group has been dedicated to building energy-efficient, high-performing homes, including numerous LEED and LEED Silver projects. We continually evolve our construction methods and incorporate the latest technologies to create better, more efficient homes.

Who we are looking for:

We seek an experienced ground-up Construction Project Manager to plan and oversee multiple projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include:

  • Acquire and manage building permits and regulatory prerequisites
  • Plan and supervise project progress from initiation to completion
  • Prepare and manage budgets and schedules, ensuring adherence
  • Oversee subcontractor scope of work, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate field operations, labor, materials, and subcontractors
  • Review, negotiate, and execute contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Use project management software to track progress and provide daily updates
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively and resolve problems as they arise
  • Develop and complete punch list items
  • Handle service calls and warranty requests post-completion
  • Respond to project emergencies as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or similar (not required but preferred)
  • At least 3-5 years of construction experience with proven understanding of construction procedures and project management
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and basic accounting
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficiency in English, Ukrainian, and/or Polish (preferably all three)
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Dropbox
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and background check required

This position offers a competitive base salary plus project performance bonuses, totaling $80-120K+ depending on project load. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are included.
