Job summary

Casitas by Las Ventanas in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee casita projects from contract handoff through final completion. You will manage 3–6 active residential projects, including schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, quality control, and client communication.

This hands-on, field-based role blends office duties for someone who is organized, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality work and a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Residential construction experience is required.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and purchasing.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3–6 residential projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and material deliveries.
• Conduct daily site visits and monitor workmanship and project progress.
• Identify and resolve scheduling, quality, and budget concerns.
• Maintain accurate project information and daily logs in Buildertrend.
• Issue purchase orders and manage material procurement.
• Track project costs and address budget variances.
• Communicate project updates, milestones, and changes to clients.
• Manage punch lists, final inspections, and client sign-off.

Pay: $70,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Position

Casitas by Las Ventanas is seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee casita projects from contract handoff through final completion.

You will manage approximately three to six active residential projects at a time, including schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, quality control, and client communication.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role with some office duties for someone who is organized, accountable, and committed to delivering high‑quality work and a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Residential construction experience is required.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Construction Superintendent, or Field Superintendent is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, and quality standards.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and purchasing.
• Ability to read construction plans and project specifications.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable using construction management software and mobile technology.
• Buildertrend experience is preferred.
• Valid and clean driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Being bilingual is a plus.

Experience with production homebuilding, custom homes, casitas, accessory dwelling units, or similar residential projects is a plus.
