Job summary

Zenith Design Build is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the construction department, directly supervising Superintendents and the Field Operations team. You will own project schedules, budgets, quality, and the client experience across residential remodeling projects in the Des Moines metro area.

Responsibilities include leading the construction team, maintaining schedules, controlling costs, ensuring QC, and communicating with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Construction background with time actually spent in the field, residential preferred.
• Experience leading and managing people.
• Able to read a plan set, a schedule, and a budget.
• Valid driver's license and able to get to job sites across the Des Moines metro.

Responsibilities

• Lead Zenith's construction department and directly manage the Superintendents and Field Operations team.
• Oversee schedule development, monitoring deviations and ensuring three-month plans for each trade.
• Manage budgets, addendums, and vendor bills; ensure scopes of work precede work.
• Ensure quality with QC checkpoints and warranty program.
• Maintain proactive client communication and manage the client experience.
