Job summary

OnPoint Search Group is seeking a Construction Manager for a premier Greater Boston custom residential remodeling firm. You will own day-to-day on active remodels, coordinating with the Director of Production, PM, and Lead Carpenter to plan, schedule, supervise crews, and keep projects on budget and on schedule.

The ideal candidate holds MA CSL and RRP licenses, full-cycle remodel experience, can read drawings and specs, and communicates clearly with clients and trades while maintaining

Responsibilities

Residential Construction Manage

Most construction managers spend their week putting out fires. This one spends it building something they're proud to drive by five years later.

I'm running a retained search for a Construction Manager on behalf of a well-established custom residential remodeling firm in the Greater Boston area — think $2.5M–$20M homes, an in-house mill workshop, and exacting standards set by owners who were builders themselves before they ran the company. This is a team that's been recognized as a top place to work multiple years running, with several Best of Boston honors to back up the craftsmanship. You'll own the day-to-day on active remodel projects: partnering with the Director of Production, Project Manager, and Lead Carpenter to plan and schedule the work, supervising crews and subs, running weekly production meetings, managing materials and deliveries, and keeping the client in the loop from first walkthrough to final punch list. You're the person on-site making the calls that keep the job on budget, on time, and up to standard.

What you bring:

• MA Construction Supervisor's License (CSL) and RRP


• Full-cycle experience running residential remodels, including supervising staff


• Sharp enough to read drawings and specs, communicate clearly in writing, and hold your own with clients and trades alike
