Job summary

Ashton Woods is seeking a Construction Manager I to oversee assigned residential construction projects in line with company standards, policies, and local codes. You will ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality meet customer expectations across communities with minimal design variation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction management or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 2–5 years of residential construction experience. Strong teamwork and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent professional experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2–5 years of residential construction experience, preferably with a production homebuilder.
• Ability to perform effectively in high-volume environments.
• Strong work ethic, sound decision-making, adaptability, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage residential construction activities to meet established critical paths and cycle time requirements.
• Ensure all homes achieve 100% completion by the scheduled Homeowner Orientation date.
• Provide weekly construction status updates to the sales team.
• Conduct customer-facing appointments through post-closing per company protocols.
• Ensure trade partners understand scopes, schedules, and quality standards.
• Maintain clean, safe job sites and enforce safety policies.
• Manage costs and material deliveries, document variances, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Coordinate weekly with Community Sales Team and support seamless operations.
