Job summary
Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Technician / Carpenter to perform construction, remodeling, repairs, and property improvements across New Hampshire. This hands-on role requires independence, troubleshooting, and pride in quality workmanship.
Compensation is $28–$34/hour with year‑round employment, overtime, PTO, health and retirement benefits, and potential advancement to Senior Technician or Crew Lead.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential construction, remodeling, carpentry, or home-building experience.
- Strong carpentry and general construction skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel between properties in New Hampshire.
- Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential construction, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance.
- Complete framing, trim, flooring, siding, doors, windows, decks, and finish work.
- Assist with manufactured/modular home installation and setup.
- Complete punch-list work and prepare homes for occupancy.
- Troubleshoot construction and property-related issues.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Coordinate with team members, contractors, and suppliers.
- Assist with seasonal and emergency property needs as required.
