Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years estimating experience using PlanSwift.
• Experience with residential construction or estimating.
• Reading architectural plans and prints is essential.
• Experience with Newstar Enterprise Database is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Estimate new plans and elevations including plan options.
• Develop and maintain accurate plan take-offs and process plan changes.
• Develop and maintain job-cost budgets in the database system.
• Build each community in Newstar Enterprise per features and requirements.
• Field visits to validate take-offs.
• Interact with Construction Managers, Area Managers, Purchasing, Design, and Vendors.
• Assist with special projects as needed by Management.
