Job summary

Ring's End, Inc. is seeking an Estimator for Residential Construction in Wilton, CT. The role involves preparing cost estimates, reviewing drawings, and developing take-off documents for proposals.

Qualifications

• A solid background in building materials, plan comprehension and construction methods is desirable.
• Effective communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn window and door quoting software, internal estimating software.
• Bonus: experience in CAD, PlanSwift, Ring's End POS, Marvin, Anderson, Upstate portals.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand construction plans.
• Communicate with Salesperson, Subcontractors, Vendors and Management.
• Deliver projects accurately, on time.
• Learn window and door quoting software, becoming proficient in their use.
• Learn Internal Quoting software, becoming proficient in their use.
• Positive force in the team.
• Mon-Friday 7 am to 5 pm - 48 hours/wk
