1. Use blueprints and contracts to produce accurate estimates
2. Maintain low variances
3. Follow Wayne Homes' estimating standards
4. Learn to use estimating software such as BuilderMT and Timberline
5. Understand construction process elements
6. Collaborate with CAD, Operations, and Construction teams
