We’re seeking an experienced Residential Construction Advisor to join our team, providing deep expertise and shaping our platform to transform custom builds and property development.

About the Role

As a Construction Advisor, you’ll leverage your comprehensive knowledge of the residential construction process—from pre-construction to closeout—to guide our AI platform’s development.

You’ll provide strategic feedback, validate features, and tap your network to accelerate our launch. A minimum commitment of 1 hour per week is required, with flexibility for additional contributions as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Share insights on the end-to-end construction process, focusing on custom builds and property development, to refine our platform’s automation of takeoffs, bids, and vendor sourcing.
• Identify key pain points and bottlenecks (e.g., inaccurate estimates, slow vendor coordination) to ensure our solution delivers unmatched value.
• Provide user feedback by testing the platform and tailoring features to contractors’ needs.
• Leverage your strong industry network (e.g., NAHB, AGC, or influencers) to drive referrals, partnerships, and market validation.
• Optionally collaborate with our technical team to enhance features like AI-driven vendor selection or computer vision for plans.

Who You Are

• Deep Expertise: 10+ years as a general contractor, project manager, or construction firm owner with a broad understanding of residential construction, specializing in custom builds or property development.
• Industry Leader: Strong network with contractors, vendors, or associations; ideally an influencer or connected to influential figures in construction.
• Strategic Thinker: Understands the pain points of construction management (e.g., time-intensive bids, unreliable vendors) and can validate AI solutions.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with construction tech (e.g., Procore, Buildxact) or AI tools is a plus but not required. Previous business ownership or management experience is a bonus.
