Job summary

CMC:Berkshires in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts is a private residential program for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Clinicians provide biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapies on a small, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current Massachusetts clinical licensure or eligibility for licensure, as applicable to the discipline.
• Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions preferred.
• Familiarity with motivational, behavioral, trauma-informed, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, respectful, nonjudgmental care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and substance use evaluations.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the clinical team.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Provide specialty services (e.g., assessments, group orientations etc).
• Coordinate with outpatient providers, referral sources, and other collateral supports to support continuity of care.
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity-of-care coordination.
• Complete timely, high-quality clinical documentation as required by facility licensure.
