Job summary

Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is seeking a Civil Project Manager (Residential) to lead civil design for large residential developments in Columbus, Ohio.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and oversee permitting and construction support from concept through delivery.

The ideal candidate has a PE license (Ohio preferred or within 6 months), a bachelor’s in civil engineering, 8+ years of site development experience, and strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred in Ohio, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of civil site development experience, with 2+ years in residential development.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (alignments, corridors, grading, profiles, pipe networks).
• Experience managing clients, projects, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design for large residential developments including master planning, lot layout, road networks, and open-space design.
• Oversee grading and earthwork balancing, sanitary, storm, and water system design.
• Lead project planning: scope, schedule, resourcing, and budget management.
