Job summary

MultiCare Behavioral Health Network in Puyallup, WA is seeking a Residential Case Aide for Luckett House to provide direct care and support to residents in a residential setting. Responsibilities include bathing, transport, meal service, medication supervision and daily activity documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, BLS, First Aid and Food Handler cards (within 14 days of hire) and a WA ACCR credential in process.

Qualifications

• BLS, Food Handler’s and First Aid cards required within 14 days of hire.
• Washington ACCR credential must be applied within 30 days of hire. Employees can work while in pending status.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct residential care to clients (bathing, shopping, transportation, meal service, medication supervision).
• Perform administrative tasks such as documenting daily activities and coordinating care with team providers.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and families.

Position Summary

The Residential Case Aide – Luckett House is responsible for providing direct services for residential care to all clients. Duties include, but not limited to: resident support for bathing, shopping, transporting clients to medical or dental appointments or to local businesses, medication supervision, monitoring and meal service and other personal care needs. Performs administrative tasks such as documentation of resident’s daily activities, coordinate care with other team providers. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and families in a respectful manner.

Requirements

• High school graduation or GED preferred

• BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI), Food Handler’s, & First Aid cards will be required within 14-days of hire

• Washington State Counselor Agency Affiliated Registered (ACCR) credential must be applied for within thirty (30) days of hire. Employees can work while in pending status. Grace periods will be adjusted in accordance with DOH requirements.

• Drivers License/Abstract

• Minimum six (6) months experience providing direct care to behavioral health populations preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.51 - $25.47 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
