Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Residential Case Aide to provide direct care in a residential setting. You will assist residents with bathing, meals, and transportation, and document daily activities while coordinating care with team members.

The role requires a HS diploma (GED preferred) and requires BLS, First Aid, and Food Handler’s cards within 14 days of hire, plus ACCR credential application within 30 days. Part-time with flexible shifts in Puyallup, WA.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of direct care experience preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support, First Aid and Food Handler's Cards required within 14 days of hire.
• Washington ACCR credential must be applied for within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, meals and transportation.

Duties include, but not limited to: resident support for bathing, shopping, transporting clients to medical or dental appointments or to local businesses, medication supervision, monitoring and meal service and other personal care needs. Performs administrative tasks such as documentation of resident’s daily activities, coordinate care with other team providers. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and families in a respectful manner.**Requirements:*** High school graduation or GED preferred* **BLS - Basic Life Suppor**t (includes RQI), **Food Handler’s,** & **First Aid** cards will be required within 14-days of hire* Washington State **Counselor Agency Affiliated Registered (ACCR)** credential must be applied for within thirty (30) days of hire. Employees can work while in pending status. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
