Odd Fellows Contracting is seeking a Master Residential Carpenter in Williamston, MI to grow into a Project Leader role. You will work on high-end residential remodels, collaborating with Project Foremen to follow a proven production process and advance toward construction management.

This full-time position emphasizes balance and professional development. The role requires hands-on carpentry experience, strong reading of plans, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential construction/remodeling.
• Ability to read structural tape measures and basic design layouts.
• Must possess standard personal hand tools; power tools provided.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for field documentation and client interactions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for 8 hours.
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Foreman with all phases of residential remodeling, including demolition, rough framing, cabinet installation, siding, J-channel, and finish trim carpentry.
• Execute precise structural cuts and general construction tasks per project prints and specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite with dust control and floor protection.
• Anticipate tools, fasteners, and materials needed to maximize daily production.
• Support Foreman in coordinating trade partners and material deliveries.
• Log daily progress and report shortages promptly to avoid delays.
• Represent the company professionally with clients to protect the brand.
