Job summary

Norsk Design Build in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking a skilled Carpenter for our residential remodeling team. You will contribute to framing, drywall, interior finish work, and cabinetry installation with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional framing experience in residential construction.
• Solid experience with drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, and general finish carpentry.
• Familiarity with standard construction tools and safety practices.
• Ability to work from construction drawings and follow scope direction independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing site conditions.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and basic hand tools required.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Framing walls, floors, and roofs per plan and code.
• Drywall patching and minor drywall installation.
• Paint touch-ups and final finish corrections.
• Completing general punch list items with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Installing doors, trim, hardware, and cabinetry.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinating with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Ensuring job site cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Communicating clearly with team members and clients.
