Job summary

MaineGuide is seeking a dependable carpenter to join our crew for residential remodels and additions. The role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and hands-on participation from demolition through finish carpentry in Cape Elizabeth, South Portland and Scarborough.

Experience with references is preferred, though we will consider motivated newcomers aiming to develop a high-quality skillset. Pay is based on experience with some flexibility in hours, and reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the project manager and communicate clearly with crew.

Seeking the right person to work with our crew on residential remodels and additions.

We value a good mindset, solid work ethic and clear attention to detail. Experienced carpenter with references is preferred and we will also consider someone newer to carpentry with goals of developing a quality skillset. We work primarily in Cape Elizabeth, South Portland and Scarborough.

Applicant will have the ability to take direction from the project manager, operate tools in a safe manner, clearly communicate with others and work in all aspects of the building process: demo, framing, interior and exterior work, finish carpentry and jobsite upkeep during the construction.

If you posses quick reflexes and a positive attitude, we would love to start a conversation. Pay based on experience and knowledge of the industry. Hours could be somewhat flexible.
