Job summary

Melmark, a nonprofit organization in Berwyn, PA, is seeking a Residential Aide to support residents with autism and developmental disabilities. Requirements include a High School Diploma, valid driver’s license, and at least 18 years old, with a preference for 1 year of experience with specialized populations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to meet approved Melmark driver status required
• A minimum age of eighteen (18) required.
• Prefer at least one (1) year experience with specialized populations.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living including eating, bathing, grooming, toileting, ambulating and dressing per treatment plans.
• Observes and monitors residents’ health/safety, reports deviations, and follows required procedures.
• Maintains prescribed Level of Supervision (LOS) and ensures transfer of LOS as needed.
• Engages residents in activities and supports daily living tasks and meal prep/clean-up.
• Participates in development and implementation of Individual Support Plans and Behavior Support Plans.
