Job summary

Liberty Community Programs seeks a Residential Support Staff member to assist residents in a group home setting, promoting safety, dignity, and growth. You will provide direct care, help with daily living activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to residents, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
• Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with other team members.
• Engage residents in recreational activities and skill-building exercises to promote social interaction and independence.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional health, reporting any significant changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations in compliance with state regulations and agency policies.
• Participate in regular staff meetings, contributing insights related to residents' care and any operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health policies, including following infection control procedures.
• Support residents in accessing community resources and activities.
