Job summary

Real House Inc. seeks a Residential Worker to manage day-to-day house operations, ensuring resident safety and well-being. You will oversee maintenance, assist with daily living activities, and coordinate transportation for appointments, shopping, and social events.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and CPR/First Aid certification. You will work on a rotating shift pattern with on-call responsibilities and report to the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience or equivalent
• Able to work with diverse populations
• Good oral and written English skills
• If in recovery, five–six years of sustained recovery is required
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate within a household
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and web-based applications
• Must be at least 25 years old
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Background check required prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Track unusual and major incidents.
• Participate in staff meetings and other meetings as appropriate.
• Be on-call as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Provide support and guidance to individuals to ensure safety and rights are protected.
• Oversee all cleaning duties by clients and ensure tasks are completed.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, personal care, laundry and daily living activities.
• Plan and coordinate leisure, social and daily living activities, including transport to appointments.
• Take responsibility for residents during day shifts when needed.
• Complete quarterly and monthly reports and maintain logs.
