Job summary

The Arc Prince George’s County is seeking a Residential Service Assistant to support individuals with disabilities across multiple homes. You will provide personal care, medications support, and help coordinate medical appointments while promoting independence and community involvement.

Responsibilities include documentation, transport coordination, and assisting with daily living activities. Valid Maryland CNA license and at least one year of caregiving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Maryland CNA license.
• At least 1 year of related caregiving experience.
• Ability to assist with lifting and transfers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support medical management for up to eight homes in the assigned region.
• Provide personal care, including hygiene, grooming, toileting, bathing, dressing, feeding, transfers and medications.
• Coordinate medical appointments and transportation; communicate with stakeholders and Arc team.
• Document progress, daily activities, and communications in the designated database system.
• Assist with community integration, transportation, and safety training to promote independence.
