Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Direct Care Worker to support men in a residential setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and help participants engage in recovery-focused programs under supervision.

Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, incident documentation, group activities, and transport to appointments. A high school diploma, 1–3 years in direct care, and driving privileges are preferred; CPR/BLS is a plus.

• Foundational knowledge of daily living support and behavioral health safety.
• Proficiency in documenting services and using standard office equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and staff.
• Understanding and following care plans and ISP requirements.
• Capable of identifying issues and elevating concerns.
• Ability to learn and apply new processes from instruction.

Aufgaben

• Assist clients with daily living tasks (hygiene, dressing, eating, mobility).
• Monitor client behavior and safety, including overnight checks and crisis observation.
• Support group activities, therapeutic exercises, and skill-building sessions.
• Transport clients to appointments, community activities, or treatment sessions.
• Maintain documentation of services, behaviors, and incidents.
• Conduct room checks, laundry, and basic housekeeping tasks.
• Follow ISPs and standard operating procedures.
