Job summary

DRB Homes seeks an Architecture Associate to draft, review, and produce construction drawings for new house types and revisions. You will respond to architectural issues, ensuring adherence to department standards and procedures.

Typical duties include drafting to permit sets and coordinating with internal teams. Requirements include 2-year associate degree, 2–4 years of residential CAD drafting, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required (2-year).
• 4-year degree preferred but not required.
• 2–4 years’ experience in residential CAD drafting.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare construction drawings from design through permit sets.
• Execute architectural plan adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, plumbing, civil).
• Provide plan clarification and distribution to Purchasing, Estimating, Production, Marketing and Sales.
