Overview

Were seeking a self-motivated CAD Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD or SketchUp, experienced in residential construction, and capable of independently assisting in producing turn-key drawing sets based on direction from our architectural design team. Familiarity with Scottsdale-based projects is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise residential building plans and technical drawings using AutoCAD or SketchUp.
• Translate architectural concepts and direction into complete, permit-ready drawing sets.
• Collaborate remotely with architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.
• Maintain organized digital archives and version control.
• Deliver turn-key drawing packages with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Drafting, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SketchUp (required).
• Strong understanding of residential design principles and construction documentation.
• Experience working in or with teams based in Scottsdale, AZ ().
