Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to support adults in a residential program. The role provides around-the-clock milieu oversight, assists the clinical team, and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Schedules available: Friday-Tuesday 3pm-11:30pm or Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-11:30pm. Pay is $17 per hour with a $1 shift differential for the 2nd shift and includes a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in the addiction or mental health fields, preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License, required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
• Ability to work within a treatment team and follow clinical directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 supervision of the client milieu and support therapeutic initiatives.
• Assist with medication observations, vitals, and coordination with medical staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation using standard clinical language and forms.
• Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
• Support transportation and inventory management for client items.
