Job summary

WellPower is hiring Residential Counselors at 1455 Beeler St, Aurora. You will support consumers with ADLs, facilitate group therapy, and coordinate clinical care within a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and self-sufficiency.

The role requires QMAP, CPR/First Aid, and a compassionate, trauma-informed approach. Education levels vary by RC I and RC II, with shift work and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• RC I requires enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
• RC II requires a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
• One year of mental health experience or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to support and insight.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions within the house.
• Coordinate clinical care with case management and other services.
• Assess consumers and provide appropriate interventions.
• Teach ADLs such as hygiene, appointments, and household chores.
• Maintain safety and document significant consumer interactions toward recovery.
