Job summary

State of Iowa - Executive Branch's CCUSO in Cherokee, IA seeks a Behavioral Health Professional 2 for a full-time, Monday–Friday 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. schedule, with extra hours as needed, to provide treatment services to sex offender clients in a secure residential setting.

Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology or related field required; excellent verbal/written communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently; comprehensive training and supervision provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in psychology, mental health counseling, applied behavior analysis, clinical social work, behavioral sciences, mental health, or a closely-related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment services such as group counseling, psycho-education, and case management for an assigned caseload.
• Work as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive residential treatment services to sex offenders.
