Job summary

The King’s Daughters’ School in Columbia, Tennessee, seeks a Direct Care Specialist to provide direct care and implement behavior support plans for students with developmental disabilities. The role focuses on safety, structure, and therapeutic guidance.

You will observe and redirect challenging behaviors, support daily living skills, and document progress while building trusting, goal-oriented relationships with students and families.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass drug screen and background checks.
• At least 2 years of experience managing challenging behaviors preferred.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Dependable—consistent routine is important for our clients.
• Willing to complete TB skin test and work physical upon hire.
