Job summary

Zepf Center in Toledo, OH is seeking a Contingent Residential Behavior Specialist to support residents’ safety and the continuity of services during varied shifts. You will work with the House Manager and direct care staff to implement activities and maintain program flow in a trauma-informed environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents for safety, carrying out ISP-driven treatment plans, assisting with skill-building, documenting events, and performing routine chores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and experience with severe mental health disability preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for agency vehicle insurance.
• Must pass initial background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' safety by monitoring and following safety plans.
• Maintain building security and assist with ISP-based activities.
• Assist residents in skill-building and recreational activities per ISP.
• Document significant events in charts and logs.
• Perform cooking, cleaning, and laundry as needed.
• Report maintenance issues to the House Manager.
• Collaborate with House Manager and staff; participate in agency activities.
