Job summary

BRAVAS in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Service Manager to lead the service department, oversee technicians and the small projects team, and balance profitability with customer satisfaction.

You will troubleshoot A/V systems, ensure tickets are billed and closed, and mentor staff while upholding BRAVAS values of collaboration, accountability, and creativity. Local travel and after-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

  • Experience with A/V, security, and lighting systems.
  • Proficiency with low-voltage wiring and systems integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work after hours and on-call.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and assign service tickets to technicians.
  • Schedule on-call and after-hours coverage.
  • Ensure accurate billing and revenue capture.
  • Provide remote support and client training.
  • Track and eliminate recurring issues with techs.
  • Set up, pre-configure, and program networks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs.
  • Lead service handoffs with defined deadlines.
  • Keep work orders, time entries, and costing up to date.
  • Protect client confidentiality and network/home security.
  • Comply with state and federal laws.

The Role

TheService Managerleads the service department, overseeing the service technicians and the small projects team to deliver excellent, industry-standard service and customer experience. This role owns the balance between profitability and customer satisfaction, troubleshooting A/V systems alongside the team, making sure every ticket is billed and closed out correctly, and stepping in with patience and expertise wherever a client needs support, all while embodying our six core values: collaborative, accountable, proactive, curious, passionate, and creative.

Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch: Processes incoming service requests, sets urgency, and assigns tickets to the right tech.
  • Scheduling: Manages the on-call and after-hoursschedule.
  • Billing accuracy: Confirms client credit status and billable vs. warranty status to ensure revenue is captured correctly.
  • Client experience :Recommends products, provides remote support and monitoring, and delivers client training.
  • Recurring issues: Works with service techs to track andeliminaterepeat problems.
  • Technical work: Sets up, pre-configures, andprogramsnetworks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs.
  • Project handoffs :Leads service handoffs to confirm completion, settingaccuratedeadlines and expectations.
  • Documentation :Keeps work orders, time entries, and job costingaccurateand up to date.
  • Stewardship: Maintainsfiscal responsibility for assigned assets and property and safeguards client confidentiality and network/home security.
  • Complies withstate and federal laws, including traffic laws.
Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of audio, video, security, and lighting systems, including integration across installed brands, with a commitment to staying current on new products.
  • Working knowledge of basic wiring and connectivity as it relates to low-voltage standards, with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to become proficient in the company’s job management software.
  • Comfortable setting up remote monitoring systems and enrolling customers in service plans.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and clear criminal recordrequired; security license or experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to meet customer demandsoutside ofnormal working hours, including participating in an on-call rotation.
  • Patient, customer-focused approach, with the ability to work with high-profile and high-demand clients.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • May require standing or stooping for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces at ladder height.
  • Local travel to job sitesrequired.
