The candidate should have MAP certification, a high school diploma (BA preferred), and 2+ years of experience with adults with developmental disabilities. Driving record and background checks are required; full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• Must have MAP certification.
• High school diploma required; BA in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is required.
• Passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass company background and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to people supported consistent with their physical needs and defined support plans.
• Implement policies, practices and procedures of the Residential Program. Protect the rights, freedoms and confidentiality and supervise the medical, nutritional health and general welfare of individuals living within the program.
• Overall supervision of the medical health, nutritional standards, educational and general welfare of the residents. Participate in the development of the Individual Service Plan and its periodic review, in collaboration with other participants.
• Participate in the screening and selection of all individuals being considered for admission to the program, in conjunction with the Program Director and Program Coordinator, as well solicit, screen and interview candidates for staff openings at the program.
