GFL Environmental is seeking an experienced Residential Automated Side Load (ASL) Driver in Florida. You will operate a fully automated side-loading truck on residential routes, enjoying solo work with reliable hydraulic systems and local day routes that keep you home each evening.

The role emphasizes safety, precise route execution, and strong customer relations. CDL A/B required with 2+ years of waste-collection experience; training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• CDL license valid Class A or B.
• 2+ years waste-collection driving experience.
• Experience with automated side-loaders preferred.
• Back-up driving up to 120+ feet with mirrors.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a fully automated side-loading truck on residential routes.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining route quality.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Promptly report mechanical issues to maintenance and supervisors.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Complete daily route sheets and attend meetings.
