Job summary

Applewood Centers in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Art Therapist to provide expressive/art therapy groups and care coordination for patients. You will develop curriculum, facilitate daily groups using art, media, imagery, and the creative process to address social and emotional challenges in the milieu; also support staff in understanding and facilitating groups.

Required is a Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, and licensure (LPAT or ATR-BC).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy required.
• Licensure as LPAT or ATR-BC required.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families; chemical dependency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain art therapy group curriculum.
• Facilitate group services utilizing Art Therapy interventions.
• Perform psychosocial assessments and expressive therapy assessments.
• Conduct treatment planning and maintain individualized treatment plans in the EMR.
• Provide care coordination and crisis intervention; participate in discharge planning.
• Collaborate with treatment team to ensure progress and needs are met.
