Job summary

PowerHouse Recruiting: PH Companies is seeking a creative architectural designer with a passion for residential design in Chicago, IL. This boutique, award-winning firm emphasizes collaboration, growth, and client-focused service.

You will work with principal architects from concept through construction, delivering schematic and construction drawings for dream homes. Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit, and AutoCAD is required, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and IL license is a plus.
Minimum 3 years in residential architecture/design.
Proficient in ArchiCAD, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Meet with team to learn project scope and create designs, drawings, and specifications with principal architect and project team.
Assist in serving discerning clients while building strong client relationships.
Design projects from schematics to construction drawings including floorplans, elevations, cabinetry/millwork, electrical, MEP, finishes.
Assist in site visits to monitor progress and address project needs.
Coordinate meetings and documentation through design and construction to installation.
Stay updated on industry trends and new products and technologies.
