Job summary

Recovering Hope Treatment Center in Mora, MN is seeking a part-time Residential Advocate to support women and families reclaim their lives from substance use disorders. The role offers 7am–3pm shifts, Fridays and every other weekend, with pay ranging from $17.00 to $22.85 per hour and additional shift differentials.

No prior experience is required; full training is provided. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing space, assist with daily living tasks, and participate in intake and visiting hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Comfortable with computers and basic tech.

Responsibilities

• Be a source of hope and encouragement: facilitate recovery activities and assist with daily living tasks.
• Be a role model: engage with clients, their children, and families with compassion.
• Ensure safety and accountability: conduct room checks, transport clients, and maintain building security.
• Stay organized: keep client records updated and handle essential administrative tasks.
• Be part of their journey: assist with intake, discharge, and visiting hours.

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable with computers and basic tech

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals with key relationships. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally, in these situations.
• Frequently reach above shoulder height to reach necessary items, including supplies, medications, etc.
• Frequently complete repetitive tasks.
• Sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height.
