Job summary

Parkview Behavioral Health Institute is hiring a Staff Clinician I to provide individual, group, marital and family therapy, assessing psychosocial functioning and guiding intervention strategies. You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to educational seminars and in-service trainings.

Must hold a Master's in a counseling-related field, be license eligible with a temporary license within 6 months, and have 2 years of healthcare or social service experience (psychiatric hospital

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.
• NVCI required within 60 days of employment.
• CPR required within 30 days of employment.
• Must be license eligible. Must obtain temporary license within 6 months of hire.
• Must pursue full licensure and/or certification in related mental health field.
• 2 years in the health care or social service field, psychiatric hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes therapeutic skills to assess the psychosocial functioning and provide intervention strategies to alleviate these needs by providing individual, group, marital and/or family therapy.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provides educational seminars and in-service training that may be beneficial and/or required.
