Valley Hope Grapevine is seeking a Master’s level licensed clinician/therapist to join our residential treatment team. The role involves individual and group counseling, treatment planning, and family-focused support in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should have a master’s in behavioral sciences, education or social work, an active license, and CPR certification. We offer strong benefits, PTO, and professional growth opportunities within a mission-driven facility.

Formación

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, education or social work.
• Fully/Independent license to function as an alcohol and drug treatment counselor in the state of operation.
• Two years of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management experience; preference for SUD/co-occurring treatment.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides individual and group counseling, therapeutic intervention, and educational lectures to patients and family members.
• Develops, revises, and implements treatment plans.
• Performs face to face assessments.
• Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team with weekly staff meetings and trainings.
• Develops patient progress reports and establishes follow-up care for patients and families.
• Provides clinical consultation to referral resources, mentors, family members and others to support recovery.
• Maintains knowledge of counseling procedures and substance abuse treatment per policy and guidelines.
• Collects and reviews referral information and coordinates services.
• Records treatment activities and observations accurately; communicates professionally with all stakeholders.
