Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Entry Control in Palm City, FL. You will manage access points, verify authorized visitors, and deliver customer service to residents and guests.

The role includes patrolling, incident reporting, and cooperating with site policies to deter issues and ensure a welcoming community environment. Pay is $18.04/hour with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, manage guest access records, and communicate access concerns according to established residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and unusual observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
